I am a freelance veterinary surgeon based in South Bucks. I qualified in 2010 from the University of Porto in Portugal and then returned to England, where I have mainly worked in small animal general practice in London.
I enjoy all aspects of small animal general practice, both medical and surgical. This led me to further my studies and complete a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2017.
I locum regularly at clinics across the South East of England and enjoy the challenge that comes with travelling to new environments. This includes small animal import and export work: for pets arriving in the UK, for those going on holiday or for those relocating to a new country. In between, I also enjoy vet-on-set work. This is an important role for the welfare of animals in film, television and advertising.
In addition, my love for travelling led me to start writing my blog, Sherlock Combs the World. Here I enjoy sharing my travel ideas and itineraries.
